Duty consciousness

      Every member of the society runs up dues with the community during his childhood and teens and also while ill and in old age. The manner of clearing these “dues” is “duty.” Purposeful Education should have this social objective in view and for that it should have four aspects viz, (i) reading and writing (ii) professional skill, (iii) philosophy of Nature, and (vi) moral conduct and proper habits. Balanced knowledge of the four aspects and duty-consciousness to put that knowledge to practice would automatically lead one along the path of Virtue.
