Design of personality

    

     Each man’s personality is conditioned by two layers of imprints of experiences. All our experiences from the date of birth up to now, whatever we enjoyed, thought or did-all these are imprinted in us and are reflected again and again. This is called Prarabdha Karma and this is the first layer of imprint. The second layer is that of hereditary imprints. This has come from parents. It contains not only our parents’ imprints of experiences but also those of their parents and so on. If we trace back the hereditary link we would reach the first man who started life on this our planet Earth. From the first man down to our parents and ourselves through the generations there has been no gap, no missing link. This is Sanjitha Karma, the second layer. It is by the combination of these two imprints of experience that any man’s personality is designed.
