Neuralisation of Anger

To neutralize anger, we have to select one person at a time and concentrate on such person alone for one week and implement our “action plan for neutralization of anger” Consider various aspects like the relationship with that person and the value of the relationship; The good deeds that person has done for us etc. When we think of the innumerable good things that person has done for us over the years, we will come to the conclusion that

It is not fair on our part to get angry with such a good friend / relative; and We should not get angry at this person hereafter.

We should take such a sankalp with our mind focused on that person. Fix the person in your mind. With autosuggestion think, "I have resolved not to get angry with this person under any circumstances because anger strains the relationship with one who is very much valued in my life. I have to deal with him or her in a careful and cautious manner, not getting short-tempered even if  provoked."

We have to enact a drama within ourselves of all the day-to-day dealings with that person in every aspect of life, and implement our decision in all our dealings with that person without getting angry at all. Whenever we see the person, our decision and practice should come into our mental picture and develop awareness. We should not be disheartened if occasionally we slip a little in the exercise. We have to apply a suitable corrective to reinforce our resolve and proceed. This introspection and sublimation will remain in our mind as one of the assets in our personality.

We have to keep on chanting this autosuggestion quiet often and strengthen our mental resolve. We have to bless such person with love and compassion during our meditation sessions. We also need to make autosuggestion that all our family members have to succeed in such practice (of neutralization of anger).
