Let us avoid Anger

Let us analyse as to how anger affects us. When anger arises we should also note what changes take place in the body and the mind. Due to anger, the frequency of the life force inside the body increases. The blood flow increases due to Blood pressure. Eyes turn red. Tension is created in the nerves and they weaken. We see various symptoms like these.

As a result of this, various diseases arise in the body continuously. Anger causes the formation of various diseases like eye ailments, sores in the tongue and stomach, piles, constipation... Because, when we get angry, the life force is expelled in large quantities. When life force is expelled in large quantities it will ruin the body and spoil the mind.

All of us clearly know - what is anger. Each one of us would have obtained an experience in a unique manner as to how cruel anger is. When anger arises, it breaks the hearts of others; it harms the self, i.e one's body and mind. Harming both the self and others, creating pain in the present and making it persist in the future - anger is an emotional state of hateful feeling.

We see that anger often arises on close friends, neighbors and people who love us and who live for our welfare. The culture of this human civilisation is elevated enough to consider doing good to even those who have done wrong. But if anger rushes the thought and emotions so as to do harm to even those who have done good then it must definitely be avoided.
